I am an out-of-network provider, which means sessions are paid in full at the time of service. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement depends on your individual plan and is not guaranteed.

Before beginning therapy, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask:

  • Does my plan cover out-of-network individual psychotherapy?
  • What is my out-of-network deductible?
  • What percentage of the session fee might be reimbursed?
  • How do I submit a superbill?

I'm happy to provide the documentation needed for you to submit a claim.

You can call your insurance provider and they can provide a therapy referral who is in-network. For low cost and insurance-based therapy, please visit: psychologytoday or openpathcollective.

I operate as a private-pay, out-of-network therapist. This allows us to make treatment decisions collaboratively without some of the administrative requirements associated with participating in insurance networks.

If you have out-of-network benefits, you may still be eligible for partial reimbursement through your insurance provider.
